MANCHESTER, Conn. — Manchester police said they are investigating the stabbing of a 15-year-old from Sunday afternoon.
At 4:23 p.m., police went to the Cheney Rail Trail near Elm Street for a report of a stabbing. Police said they found a 15-year-old who had injuries from a stab wound.
Police said they investigated in the area of Park Street and New Street.
The town's police and Fire and Rescue provided medical treatment at the scene before the teen was brought to Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Their condition is currently unknown.
Based on a preliminary investigation, police learned that the individuals involved in the incident arranged to meet at the location where it took place.
No arrests have been made at this time, police said.
