MANCHESTER, Conn. — Early Saturday afternoon, the Manchester Police Department responded to an active drowning incident at Millbridge Hollow Condominiums on Prospect Street, according to a release from Manchester police.
Police responded at approximately 1:08 p.m. and, upon arrival, they discovered a 15-year-old boy in need of immediate assistance and medical attention after being pulled from the pool by bystanders, Manchester police said.
According to police, first responders provided prompt medical care to the boy before he was transported to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford.
The police department is investigating the circumstances around the incident, according to the release. The boy’s name is not being released at this time, and his medical condition was unknown as of early Saturday evening, police said.
