BLOOMFIELD, Conn — A man has died after his motorcycle lost control and slid from the road in Bloomfield overnight Saturday.
Police were called to the corner of Blue Hills Ave. and East Dudley Town Road around 2:15 a.m. for a report of a crash. A 911 caller reported seeing a motorcycle on the lawn of a business at the intersection, police said.
Arriving officers found a man lying on his back next to the motorcycle, which had severe damage. The 41-year-old man died at the scene, police said.
A preliminary investigation determined the man lost control of the motorcycle and slid from the roadway and onto the grassy area, police said.
Anyone with information regarding this crash is asked to call the Bloomfield Police Department.
