SOUTHINGTON, Conn. — The 75 Center Restaurant & Bar in downtown Southington had its liquor license suspended indefinitely following a weekend bar brawl that was caught on camera and posted on social media.

The suspension comes after Southington Police Chief John Daly appealed to the state Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Division. He cited deficient security procedures at the bar that have created a safety concern.

Southington police have been called to 75 Center 12 times in the last two years for incidents ranging from drug overdose and drunk patrons in need of medical assistance to fights and guns being pointed at people.

Heidi Montes then allegedly stabbed two bouncers.

“Taking out what is referred to as a wand shank and she stabbed one of the bouncers in the back of the neck several times. Another bouncer intervened and tried to take the weapon from Heidi. She turned and slashed him in the face,” said Southington Police Lt. Keith Egan.

The bouncers narrowly escaped potentially life threatening injuries.

“We haven’t had a fight in a while at least. I used to bar back in the summer of 2022 and I saw maybe two fights but never that bad,” reacted Dylan, a 75 Center employee.

Heidi Montes was arrested on a $250,000 bond and is facing charges of assault in the second degree, interfering/resisting arrest, breach of peace in the second degree, and assault in the third degree.

Adrian Montes and Chase were arrested on $25,000 bonds and facing charges of interfering/resisting arrest and breach of peace in the second degree.

All three suspects were arraigned Monday, police said.

Southington police said they are still gathering evidence and trying to identify one other person who was involved.
