A New Britain man was killed in the crash on I-84

Connecticut State Police said Sherry was driving in the left hand lane of I-84 East near Exit 30 when he suddenly veered to the right in a late attempt to take the exit. Police and witnesses, who provided dashcam video, said the right side of Sherry's car struck the center driver's side of the pickup Vallier was driving causing it to fishtail across the eastbound lanes, and roll over. Vallier died at the scene.

Police said Sherry's inattention at the time of the crash contributed to the collision.
