Abandoned dog tied to a tree at Southbury horse farm say police

SOUTHBURY, Conn — Southbury Police and Southbury Animal Control are investigating why a dog was abandoned and left tied to a post at a horse farm Friday morning. 

A female German Shepherd that was tied up and abandoned at Willow Creek Horse Farm, on North George’s Hill Road around 7:40 a.m.

Officials are also looking to identify the owner of a vehicle, which was used to drop this dog off, before she was tied to a fence at the entrance. The vehicle appears to be an early to mid 2000’s Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon.
