UNION COUNTY, New Jersey — A prosecutor's office in New Jersey said Tuesday that they are looking for information on the murder of a former Middletown woman.
According to the Union County Prosecutor's Office in New Jersey, a woman's body was found on June 11, 2020, along railroad tracks in Elizabeth, N.J. An autopsy afterbody later revealed that her death was the result of a homicide, according to the prosecutor's office.
The woman was identified in 2023 as Jasmine Featherstone, 23, formerly of Middletown, through "investigative efforts and DNA testing," the prosecutor's office said.
Anyone with information regarding Featherstone's death is asked by the prosecutor's office to contact Sergeant Lamar Hartsfield at 908-451-1873 or Detective Angela Concepcion at 908-341-5416.
Tips or information can be sent anonymously by calling 908-654-TIPS (8477) or visiting uctip.org. The prosecutor's office said that a reward of up to $10,000 is being offered by the Union County Crime Stoppers for tips that lead to "an indictment and conviction."
