NORTH HAVEN, Conn. — A three-vehicle crash occurred Saturday evening in North Haven, the town’s fire department reported on Facebook.
Around 8:12 p.m., the North Haven Fire Department responded to Quinnipiac Avenue and Montowese Avenue for a motor vehicle crash involving a rolled over vehicle, according to the fire department.
Multiple fire companies responded to the scene. The first to arrive confirmed that an entrapped driver inside of a rolled over vehicle needed extraction, the Facebook post says.
The driver was removed from the vehicle within 10 minutes, according to the fire department, and taken by Nelson ambulance to a local hospital.
Three cars were involved in the crash, including four patients, the fire department reports. The North Haven Police Department remains on scene, as of 9 p.m.
Delays are expected as the investigation is ongoing, the Facebook post says.
