WATERBURY, Conn. — Waterbury police arrested five people Wednesday in the illegal after-hours operation of a bar and restaurant
At 3:18 a.m., officers were doing routine patrols in the area of East Main and Cherry Street when they heard loud music coming from the Prestige Bar and Restaurant on 379 East Main St., police said.

An investigation resulted in officers seizing over 100 various bottles of liquor and $704, following concerns that the business was operating past its permitted hours. Police also arrested five people facing a variety of charges.
