The driver in the vehicle allegedly took off from the officers at the traffic stop. According to police, officers later found the vehicle and driver near the Franklin-Norwich town line.

As the driver attempted to take off from officers a second time, he threw multiple items out the windows of the vehicle before it became disabled a short time later, police said.

Police said they then arrested Morse and seized large amounts of drugs including "cocaine, fentanyl, suboxone and marijuana, as well as three semi-automatic handguns, a revolver, high-capacity magazines, several rounds of live ammunition and a large sum of cash."
