Rocky Neck State Park closed during police investigation

Officials said the investigation remains active and that there is no threat to the public.

EAST LYME, Conn. — A state park in East Lyme is closed early Thursday morning due to a police investigation, officials said.

The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection's Environmental Conversation Police (EnCon), Connecticut State Police and East Lyme police responded to Rocky Neck State Park.

Officials said the investigation remains active and that there is no threat to the public. Additional information was not immediately available.
