COVENTRY, Connecticut — A former Glastonbury police officer who's been charged in connection with several burglaries across the state is now facing additional charges for burglaries in Coventry last year.
According to the Coventry Police Department, 37-year-old Patrick Hemingway was arrested for three commercial burglaries that happened in March and April 2023.
Officials said on the department's Facebook page that they worked with several other agencies and shared information regarding these investigations, which involved similar circumstances.
Hemingway was charged separately for the three cases and was held on a combined $150,000 bond. He's facing three counts of third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, two counts of sixth-degree larceny, and second-degree criminal mischief.
Hemingway was a former Glastonbury police officer and was also previously employed at the New Britain Police Department. He's been previously charged with burglaries in South Windsor, Wethersfield, Old Saybrook, East Hampton, Shelton and Stratford.
